U.S. President Donald Trump has offered his compassion to the casualties of a mass cutting assault simply outside Japan's capital.

Trump is completing a state visit to Japan and was in front of an audience with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe when he made the remarks about Tuesday's assault.

He stated: "I need to pause for a minute to send our petitions and compassion to the casualties of the wounding assault toward the beginning of today in Tokyo. All Americans remain with the general population of Japan and laments for the people in question and their families."

An authority at the Kawasaki city office told the AP that 16 individuals, the greater part of them students, were injured and three others were accepted executed, including the assailant.

NHK TV in Japan is citing police as saying the suspect in a blade assault that injured at any rate 19 individuals at a transport stop simply outside Tokyo has kicked the bucket.

Police wouldn't freely affirm the reports and it wasn't clear what number of had passed on in Tuesday's assault.

The nearby local group of fire-fighters told The Associated Press that one individual had passed on.

Some Japanese news sources are revealing at any rate three passings, while some are stating two, including the aggressor.

Reports said the assailant moved toward a gathering of kids at the transport stop with a blade in each hand shouting "I will murder you!"

Flame authorities tell the Kyodo news organization that a man has been confined in the assault.

It wasn't quickly clear how genuine different wounds are.
